NIGERIAN BITCOIN SCAM
There has been a recent spate of Bitcoin scams originating from Nigeria.
How the scam works: You receive an email saying that you have an inheritance of 1 million Bitcoins and all you have to do is transfer 1 Bitcoin to a certain Bitcoin address in order to release the funds. If you send the Bitcoin you will lose it and you will not receive the inheritance which is bogus and never existed.
Solution: Simply delete the email and do not respond because these types of emails are a scam.

GOOGLE PHONE VERIFICATION - CRYPTO EXCHANGE HACK SCAM
If you login to a crypto exchange using your Google Account AND you use Google phone verification, then hackers could steal your phone number (eg if you lose your phone or change phone numbers) and then take over your Google online identity and then login to your crypto exchange and steal your coins.
Solution: Use improved security to login to your exchange such as a non-Google username and a strong password plus setup 2-Factor authentication (such as Google Authenticator) and/or a hardware wallet.

BINANCE PHISHING SCAM
Beware an email that asks you to verify your Binance account.
If you click on the link, you will be taken to a fake website that looks a lot like Binance but which is fake.
If you enter your Login credentials, the owner of the fake website will steal your Login credentials, and then they could login to your real Binance account and steal your crypto.
Recommendation: Delete this email. It is known as a Phishing scam.
